PRIVACY POLICY

Aquatarium (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your  
personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard  
information when you use the Aquatarium mobile application (the “App”).  
We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act  
(PIPEDA), applicable provincial privacy laws, and mobile platform privacy requirements.  
1. AGE RESTRICTION & CHILD PRIVACY  
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.  
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must be at  
least 13 years of age to create an account or use the App.  
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13, we will  
take steps to delete such information promptly.  
Parents or guardians who believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information may  
contact us at privacy@aquatarium.ca.  
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT  
A. Information You Provide Directly  
Account Information: Email address and date of birth (used to confirm age eligibility)  
Contact Information: Email address for account security, support, and prize notification  
Contest Information: Information required only if you are eligible for and enter a  
contest  
B. Information Collected Automatically  
Location Data: Collected only while the App is in active use to verify visits to  
participating locations  
Device Information: Device type, operating system, IP address (for security and  
troubleshooting)  
Camera Access: Used solely to scan QR codes; images are not stored or transmitted  
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION  
We use personal information to:  
operate and administer the App and Adventure  
verify eligibility for contests and promotions  
prevent fraud, misuse, and technical abuse  
communicate essential service messages  
send optional marketing communications only with express opt-in  
4. DATA STORAGE & INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS  
Personal information is stored on secure servers provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).  
Data may be stored in Canada and/or the United States. By using the App, you acknowledge  
that your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is stored,  
including lawful access requests by government authorities.  
5. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION  
We do not sell personal information.  
We share personal information only when necessary to operate the App, provide requested  
services, administer contests, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations. We may share  
information with:  
Service providers, including Pigeon Tech, cloud hosting providers, and authentication  
services  
Legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law  
All service providers are contractually required to protect the confidentiality and security of  
personal information.  
6. DATA RETENTION  
Contest data: Retained until contest completion and applicable audit or regulatory  
periods  
Account data: Retained until the user deletes their account  
7. YOUR RIGHTS & DATA DELETION  
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.  
How to Delete Your Data  
In-App: Settings → Profile → Delete Account  
Requests are processed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days.  
Deleting your account will permanently remove your accumulated points, rewards, and contest  
entries.  
8. SECURITY  
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal  
information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely  
secure.  
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY  
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted with a revised  
“Last Updated” date.
